BCS Championship Bowl
The BCS Championship Bowl has decided the Coaches Poll National Champion since it's introduction during the 1998 season. In 2006-2007 the BCS Championship Bowl Game was held at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the same location as the Fiesta Bowl, and featured the #2 Florida Gators upsetting the #1 Ohio State Buckeyes. The Buckeyes were again #1 in 2007-2008 and Ohio State faced #2 LSU for the 2007 National Championship, but again the SEC got the better of the Big Ten.
2008-2009 features the #1 Oklahoma Sooners versus the #2 Florida Gators as the two face off for the BCS National Championship on January 8, 2009 at the site of the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida.
