Eagle Bank Bowl (Congressional Bowl)

The Congressional Bowl is a new bowl game which was approved in late April 2008 to be played for the first time in December 2008 at the conclusion of the 2008 college football regular season. To be played in Washington D.C., the Congressional Bowl has been renamed the Eagle Bank Bowl and will be played on December 20th, 2008 will feature Navy against Wake Forest of the ACC. The Eagle Bank Bowl is contracted to feature Army or Navy against the ACC's #9 team. Should the ACC not be able to fill the spot with a bowl-eligible team, the Mid-American Conference (MAC) is listed as the backup for the Eagle Banks Bowl.
