St. Petersburg Bowl (St. Pete Bowl)
The St. Pete Bowl is a new bowl game that was approved in late April 2008 to be played for the first time in December 2008 at the conclusion of the 2008 college football regular season. To be played in St. Petersburg, Florida, the St. Pete Bowl will be played on December 20th, 2008 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg and is sponsored by magicJack. The St. Petersburg Bowl features a Big East team, the USF Bulls, against the Memphis Tigers of Conference USA.
