New bowl games accepted!

Two new bowl games have een added to the bowl season bringing the total to 34 bowl games. The Congressional Bowl will be held in Washington D.C. and the St. Pete Bowl were two of three bowl games proposed to the NCAA on April 30th, 2008.

Football Bowl Subdivision

With the kickoff of the 2007 college football season, Divisions I-A and I-AA no longer exist, now being called the Football Bowl Subdivision (formerly I-A) and the Football Championship Subdivision (formerly I-AA). The Football Bowl Subdivision is made up of the 6 BCS conferences (ACC, Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-10, SEC), the 5 non-BCS conferences (C-USA, MAC, MWC, Sun Belt, WAC) and the Independents.
