South Carolina Bulldogs Football Bowl History
The South Carolina Gamecocks have an elusive bowl history that included a 42 year bowl losing streak that saw South Carolina go 0-8 during that stretch. However the Gamecocks went 2-0 under head coach Lou Holtz defeating Ohio State in consecutive Outback Bowl match-ups in 2001 and 2002 as the USC football program hase played in the Outback Bowl and 3 times and the Gator Bowl 4 times in program history.
