Indiana Hoosiers Football Bowl History
The Indiana Hoosiers do not have the football history of the Big Ten’s top teams Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State with just a handful of bowl appearances in program history. After a great stretch where the Hoosiers played in 6 bowl games in 7 years under Bill Mallory in 1986-1993, Indiana Ince again struggled to play in the postseason for years, and despite the major expansion of bowl games during the 2000s, Indiana played in a bowl game just once between 1994 and 2014 – in the 2007 Insight Bowl. The Peach Bowl is the lone bowl game that the IU Hoosiers have ever appeared in twice in the program’s history, but Indiana did appear in the first ever College Football Playoff, facing Notre Dame at the end of the 2024 season.
Indiana Hoosiers Bowl Record: 3-11
